Agricultural Spraying Robot
An electric, remote-controlled boom sprayer that sprays crops evenly and covers large fields on one battery.
My role
Product Owner at Flo Mobility. My team built the driving system behind Flo's agricultural robots.

What it does
- Sprays a wide strip of crop in one pass from a 10 metre boom.
- Runs on electricity, quietly and without fumes in the field.
- Is driven by remote control, keeping the operator away from the spray.
Who it was for
Farmers and farm service providers who want even, measured spraying over large areas with less exposure to chemicals.

How it works
- A battery-electric vehicle carries a 300 litre tank and a pump feeding the boom.
- Nozzles spaced every half metre along the boom spread a fine, even spray across the crop.
- High ground clearance lets it drive over standing crops, and the boom height adjusts to the crop.
